Look: Shoe Size: Felt a half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width Very roomy shoe for extra-wide feet - Although the look is somewhat retirement home-ish...this shoe accommodates both a wide foot and a high instep. My 2.5-year-old son has not worn it yet, as he is currently wearing the New Balance KO 301 everyday to play, but I'm sure that it will hold up just as good as the other New Balance shoes we've purchased over the last year. Other shoes recommended by reviewer: for extra wide feet - anything Stride Rite and New Balance Top
