The double layer of wicking material in these running crew socks make them perfect for hiking, running, or walking because they keep your feet dry, padded, and blister free. Look:Wright sock - The description should include that the inner layer is white and shows through at the stress points. Other than that the socks are exactly what I wanted. Look:These great socks are tight! I would love these socks completely if I were thinner. The sock part fits exceptionally well, but on my ankles - not so great. I can wear them for short periods (i.e. while exercising) but need to change them as soon as I am done due to the tight legs. Look:Inconsistent sizing; hot - These run a little large as compared to other Wrights I have ordered from Zappos. They are white on the inside and black on the outside -in case you are interested. I'd say they fit snuggly around the foot and are hot. Wright should stick with the double layer sock (a great idea) but the outer layer should always be mesh or a looser weave. I'd send these back if I thought I could get a refund, but since you have to actually wash and wear a pair of socks before you know if they'll fit, that's not gonna happen. Look:Long-time user of Wrightsock Double-Layer running socks - Recently I bought a 6-pack of crew size because it gets cold here in Atlanta! Before that I wore the same style for 10 years in Minnesota winters. Of course, in the spring I move to the short ones but they're always Wrightsocks because I've never had a blister with this brand, even in 13 marathons. Look:Great Socks! These are the best socks I have ever worn. I just wish they were less expensive. I have a hard time wearing regular cotton socks now because of how good these are. I used to get blisters in the summer on hot days but not with these socks. Try a pair and see how good they are. Look:Dancing, not running - I wear 9D shoes--excellent fit. These provide some cushioning without being overly thick, but most importantly keep my feet dry when I sweat while dancing. I will never wear anything else.
