These really are great trail running shoes! I'm an ultra runner so they only last a couple months but the fit is really good. I did my first 100km race and my feet didn't hurt and I only had one small blister. I think you need to take care of your feet and even if they wear out a little faster than other shoes they are worth it. They really are designed for the serious runner. Good over all cushioning and no foot slip in the shoe which is really hard to find.

Great Shoe - This is the second pair of Fireblades for me. I have a high arch, narrow heel and it is hard for me to find a pair of tennis shoes that give me enough support. These are excellent. They are very comfortable: I can walk over uneven ground without turning my ankle. They have been very durable and my first pair still looks nice after 2 years. Originally I wore them with orthotics but have now found that I don't need the extra insert.

These are awesome if you like to feel the trail! Amazing shoes! I can't stand running in my road shoes (Asics Kayano's) though I love them, on the trail - they are too high off the ground and don't grip a wet trail enough. Usual trailrunners are heavy as bricks. NOT THESE! These are so nice and light and nimble. They are snug on my feet and feel so good! The only thing I can say for improvement is that sometimes I get pebbles in around my ankles (collar not snug enough) and that they are not meant to last as long as a road shoe. Don't wear these around thinking you will get any cushioning for more than 2 months. Also, if you take them off the trails at all, expect the tread to go fast. I'll be upgrading to the Crosslite and I'm excited (need bigger lugs).

Great shoe! Surprisingly comfortable. Fits the foot well. Will use as a running shoe, but love the look, so may use as a knock around walker too.

Great shoes. I'm not a fan of the yellow coloring, and the laces tend to untie after a while (even when double-knotted), but those are the ONLY complaint I have about these shoes. They fit well, straight out of the box. Also, they walked well on a hilly trail, and are the most solid trainers I've ever worn. They're obviously very well-constructed. Great for endurance walking and hiking, as well as everyday wear. Points to La Sportiva for making these shoes vegetarian. I highly recommend!

I've got narrow feet, but the bit of extra room gave me a lot of comfort when running on trails. Actually, I realized that it had been so long since I had shoes that fit properly that it took getting used to! I wear these shoes for trail running, mountain biking, and general everyday use. They are as comfy as my old Salomons and have great arch support and a good hard (but flexible enough) sole. Recommended!

Fire blade is #1 in my book - I bought this shoe as a replacement for my old Salomon’s that had taken a beating. The yellow color is what first drew me to this shoe, and I have some La Sportivas for rock climbing, so I thought I would give them a try. I absolutely love how comfortable they are. They also have gore-tex on the tongue area and are pretty light weight for this type of shoe. Plus, they are a cool looking shoe at that. I hope they keep making this shoe, because I cannot go back to my Salomon’s after wearing these. Thumbs up from me!
