I have a flat foot, so I had to get new insoles. Look:Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support After playing tennis in the shoes for several months, I’m realizing that the lace holes end too early and do not give good support to the whole foot. As a result my arch starts hurting after 15 minutes on the court because of the stress as my heel tends to pull away from the shoe when I am running for the ball and it puts undue pressure on the arch/center of my foot. If they punched a 7th hole for the laces, that would help greatly in solving the problem. I made some makeshift holes and it helped in making the shoe feel more secure. Previously I was wearing a lighter Adidas tennis shoe which is also terrific - but I wanted a little more cushion. Plus, I have a high arch and this has good arch support. Very comfortable and breathable (I live in a hot climate and needed a shoe to breath). Many of the other shoes I tried were too much shoe for me... this one is great. I bought them because of the abzorb soles and also because I’ve always liked New Balance. They felt comfortable when I put them on but after playing tennis for an hour a couple of times, the toes of my left foot felt cramped upon removing the shoe. I'm not sure why that's so; I’ve tried adjusting the lacing. The right foot doesn't have this problem. Hopefully, after wearing it a few more times, the crampiness will go away.
