I should have listened to the size comments. I always order New Balance 1/2 size larger, I didn't need it. The shoes slip off the back of my feet. If I wear socks, they are fine. They give my feet a lot of stability. They are comfortable and easy to get on and off. The white is very nurse's shoe looking. Zappos is amazing. I always look at Zappos before I buy anything. I got the 10W but I think a 10 regular would have fit better. They the do run wide. Next time. I walked 2 miles in them the same day I got them. And of course Zappos is the best place to buy shoes. These New Balance WW811 Slip-ons are SOOO comfortable and accommodate all the concerns my feet need: good arches, need for wide and deep toe bed, and long hours on my feet all day. I hadn't realized that this shoe is a clog rather than a slip-on (it's described as a slip-on), but decided to give them a try anyway. I wore them for an errand I needed to run during my lunch hour. By the end of the errand, which involved perhaps 1 1/2 miles of walking, I was limping in pain – I think because of the lack of support these shoes provide.
