Look:Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Asics Gel Evolution 3 - I own the previous version of the Gel-Evolution and was so impressed I got the 3rd edition which is equally good. I have wide flat feet and it is hard to find a shoe that will fit and have good adequate support, but this one fits the bill. I can run all day and not have pain in my feet, knees, and hips. They fit better than the 7's (I went to a local shoe store and tried the 7's), but the 7.5 is too big for me. Does anyone else have this problem? I wish they made 7.25's... lol. Other than that, these support my flat feet tremendously and I feel like I can run for hours. I had the older version and wore those down. This shoe is the best I have seen in a long time--I have several orthopedic issues and this gives me life and lets me live it to the fullest--I would recommend this to anyone and I will cont to buy this shoe! I have flat feet, so the 2's were great. This new model is really close to last year's, but I find the heel to be a bit wider and the fit across the top of the shoe to be a bit tighter. Not necessarily bad, but not the same as my beloved Evolution 2's. I over pronate which also affects my knees but I am only 5'3" and not a heavy runner. So many motion control shoes are FAR too heavy and seem to be designed for people with large builds. These are wonderfully lightweight and comfortable, with good support for the smaller runner who still needs some help with overpronation, without all the extra weight and blocky feel. I plan to order another pair for when the 1st pair wears out. As with many athletic shoes, I found a half size larger fit best. After 6 months of searching for a good walking shoe I finally found Asics’s Gel-Evolution 3. The arch support and cushioning are outstanding! My feet feel like they are walking on clouds.
