I think if you check out the New Balance site independently, you can get a feel for it. These sneakers seem more rigid than the nubuck M574 that I had, and so they seem more durable. I probably own close to 20 pairs of 574's. Some of you know the white soled ones get dirty very easily.I wear these everywhere on my motorcycle. They are holding up well and don't show dirt easily like some of the other lighter shoes. Not knocking NB's, but I got my pairs I only wear out and keep very clean. They felt a little snug when I put them on and I was convinced that they just needed to be broken in. The only result after a few hours of walking around was excruciating toe pain. (Most people probably would have just returned the shoes right away; clearly, that's what I should have done.) I'm sure it's a great shoe beyond the weird sizing issue.
