Soles DO mark, front came loose in one week - I ordered this shoe for my son, who has very wide, hard to fit feet. It gives excellent arch support, very comfortable. BUT the sole is marked "non-marking"--this is not true. We now have big ugly marks all over our brand new tennis court. The sole easily makes marks even on our wood floors. Thank you, New Balance. Also, the front bit of the sole came loose after one week of wearing. Pretty.
