I got wide, 7.5 which is my true size. I love that I can get wide widths so I always buy New Balance. I teach aerobics so I buy shoes often. New Balance does have the habit of discontinuing great styles, however and replacing the shoe you've been wearing for years with the new and improved version, but there are so many choices, I always find one that fits. This one is pretty in white with pink. I LIKE it! Thanks to Zappos for making purchasing so easy. I actually bought two different pairs, not knowing which would fit since it's so EASY to return. The website suggested to buy a size larger than I wear, which is what I did, knowing that is a true statement, as I've worn New Balances before. If I could've been able to try the size smaller, then I'd know that I would be able to fit into it better than the larger one, which is a little big. I definitely needed the Wide. The area around the ankle rubs next to the tongue. I added insoles and that helped a lot. New Balance is a good shoe, but it could've had more padding in the heel area.
