Also, the removable sole is almost paper thin, also with no cushion whatsoever. Good points - the overall style and look of the shoe, a good width heel (not too wide, it hugs and holds the heel). I'd prefer another 1/4" width in the toe box, however, as I have to wear "corn pads" on the little toe with these shoes. The shoe is extremely comfortable and it doesn't look like an athletic shoe. I have the cream colored shoe. I teach middle school all day and my feet have been hurting so bad that amputation couldn't have been more painful. I wear this shoe with my dress pants and while nobody will ever call it stylish, it looks okay. I have had many compliments on the shoe and have recommended it for its extreme comfort. It was okay, but probably would have been better if I had gotten one with more support in the arch and the heel. My orthotics would not fit it.
