I normally wear 10.50 - 11 (leaning towards 11), and the fit was perfect. Leaving NY at zero sea level, and going to WY at 9,000 ft above sea level, although I was huffing and puffing going up those hills and mtns., My feet were always comfortable. Not a blister on my feet after three grueling days of extreme hiking. The level of customer service I received from Zappos goes without saying. I ordered on Wed. 7:0pm, and had the shoes by 4pm the next day. Zappos wrote me an e-mail saying they just felt like rushing my order. We hiked the red rocks of Sedona, the hills of our ghost town Jerome and the woods behind our cabin in Pinewood. These shoes gave me ample ankle support and were very comfortable to wear right out of the box. I don't like to carry an extra pair of shoes when we pack for these short trips, so I wear these with fresh jeans to go out to dinner. They look fine with the jeans. His feet were comfortable and well-supported, which is pretty important with his rock-hopping tendencies!
