It is a little wide for my foot but very comfortable and looks great. It is not excessively wide but is a little spacey on the tip of the shoe. But all in all a nice shoe. I bought green super feet insoles and it took it to a new level. I run pavement and these hold up nicely and the price is within the reasonable realm. It's a great neutral running shoe, so changing the insole may not be an issue. It is well built and no one has had anything negative to say about it visually. I would caution you that if you have narrow heels, you might have a problem with this one. It feels a teeny bit loose on my heels, but not enough for me to worry about. I don't have extraordinarily narrow heels...if you do, you might have a problem with this shoe. They have great support and feel wonderful, but I'm not crazy about how they look. I have HUGE feet and am used to them not looking petite, but these shoes look a little extra clunky. A decent trade-off for something I can comfortably walk in, but it might be a bigger issue for some people. NBs are the only shoes that are wide enough for my feet. I hate buying men's shoes, but women's shoes simply don't fit me. If you have wide feet, NB owns the market, in my opinion. I've always struggled shopping for shoes in the stores since I have to get a large size in extra wide. Usually, my choices are limited to five or so pairs in the store, none of which are particularly appealing. My last pair that I bought in the stores were deemed "grandpa shoes" by all of my friends. I am a size 10 - this shoe felt a little too long. The shoe feels somewhere between good to average on other parameters. It doesn't have too much cushioning, but is otherwise light and comfortable. I personally didn't think this shoe had good arch support, but then my foot arch is quite profound. All in all, a decent shoe for the price. I always buy New Balance shoes because my feet never hurt when I wear them (unlike some other brands). I can never find shoes that fit my feet in stores (well, I can usually get just some black run of the mill New Balance shoes), but Zappos got me the exact size I wanted and they fit perfectly. On a side note... Zappos is just plain awesome! I opted for the free shipping and ordered fairly late in the day, but an hour or two later, I got an e-mail saying they had upgraded my shipping free of charge! I thought to myself that they must have gone to priority mail or something cheap, but it turns out they bumped me from the free 4-5 day shipping option to next day air saver!
