After about 3 miles my feet and lower legs start to burn. There is no give to the shoe and not enough cushion. I am moderate weight at 5'8". Great for just walking or working out in a gym. I do a pretty even mix of cardio work as well as lifting free weights and this shoe has it all. Light weight and breathable for running and very stable for squats, dead lifts, etc. All that and they look great. Fortunately Zappos.com has a great selection of shoes to choose from. These particular shoes are very comfortable and fit well. It also helped a bit with my severe under-pronation. Unfortunately, it does have some flaws as an every-day shoe... After about 6 months of use, the plastic "shocks" on the bottom of the shoe began to crack. This wouldn't be a huge deal except that this creates a very annoying squeaking sound whenever I step (the damage got progressively worse). Only other complaint is that these are USELESS on ice/slick snow. The shape of the heel makes the shoe act like a pair of skiis. I ate it on snow for the first time in years this last winter. The heel is extremely durable unlike a pair of Puma Cell Therids that I bought which the heel of eventually snapped and started squeaking. I use the shoes to play racquetball and they work great. The only problem is the top of right shoe's heel has worn into my skin which has caused bleeding.
