I work in the medical field, so I'm on my feet most of the day. These feel like I’m wearing wooden sole shoes. The first week I wore them to work, I had to take breaks in order to remove the shoes and let my feet recover. I’m really disappointed. Historically, New Balance has been my favorite brand. I have had excellent success with New Balance. Okay, so he doesn't like the style as much as he liked his other tennis shoes, but he's got big, huge, flat pained feet and the New Balance 600 series are all that seems to work for him. If you have a picky foot, then this one may just work for you. It only took about a day and a half of work duty to have them broken in a little. Fit was good even for my narrow foot. Can wear these all day and then some.
