They have better cushioning for the ball of your foot than most, and definitely good heel cushioning, true to claims. I like the silver parts of the shoe, but generally go for bolder, brighter colors. I did get a blister on the inside of my heel after a long walk, so perhaps they have a narrow heel. If you need a wider toe box, these may not be for you - my outer toes go numb after being on cardio machines for 20+ minutes. Definitely corrects your pronation, something I need to get used to as i sometimes now over-pronate in these. The only negative is the arch is pretty high, so when I wore them to step class, my arches were killing me by the end and for a few days after. That said, I now have a cross-trainer pair I wear to step (ASICS GEL-130 TR) and I wear these for the more high impact floor classes like Combat and Attack and they are fabulous. They are extremely supportive and comfortable and I have an easier time keep my foot and ankle in proper alignment. I took them right out of the box and went for a 3-mile run. They are very comfortable; have just enough cushioning without being too mushy; and they provide great lateral stability, which is something that I look for since I under-pronate badly. They also didn't put blisters on my heel/ankle like every single other new pair of runners I've ever owned! It's cold here in Florida right now, and I felt the air circulating through the shoes just as it should - I expect that they will help keep my feet cool on the warmer runs. I ordered them in my usual size for athletic/running shoes. They initially felt a bit snug, especially in the toe, but that sensation disappeared when I started my run. The style looked a bit over-the-top when I was shopping around, but I must say that I really liked the look once I got them on my feet (I bought one of Zappos exclusive color combos)! I purchased these shoes in the size I have worn in the past in New Balance athletic shoes and found these to be half a size too small. Once I got the right size however they fit great! I have a wide forefoot and this shoe was plenty wide enough there for me. My only issue is the look. I bought the shoe in blue/silver and they really aren't attractive. The silver is very bright and shiny and just looks tacky. These are the first sneakers to fit my feet this well in awhile so I am keeping them and would recommend them (IF looks aren't a factor). I have a pair of the ASICS Gel Cumulus, and, while they are comfortable, they are not quite as cushioned as I would like. I ordered the same size in the Nimbus 10, and, they are actually wider and have more room than my ASICS Cumulus shoes. I have short toes, so, the big toe rubbing that others have commented on here does not seem to be an issue. Admittedly, I have not "tried them out" as yet, but, as a commuter, I wear my sneakers to and from the train and work, and, so, I was able to make a fairly good comparison between how my feet felt in each of the styles at the end of the day when my feet are at their most swollen. The Nimbus won hands down. My only complaint is that the silver on the shoe is too shiny. Since I will use these shoes for commuting as well as for my power walking at lunchtime, I would have preferred a more conservative appearance. But, comfort wins out over cosmetics, and, I am very, very pleased with this purchase. As an aside, I always order sneakers a 1/2 size larger than I wear in my street shoes. These sneakers are no exception. Order at least a 1/2 size up.
