Look:I love these shoes. I overpronate a lot, but when I went to a running store and had a professional analyze my gait (which every runner should do, and have redone periodically) they recommended these. They have helped my gait considerably and reduced my shin pain. I was in a lot of pain. I was naive and thought that I had to break them in. I then ran another short run, and not only did they hurt, but my run was rather hard to finish. I just recently went for my long run and the bottom outside of my feet hurt so bad. I am an overpronator, but I think these shoes are way too severe for me. I am training for the half marathon and now I will have to go buy new shoes. I should have just stuck with Asics like I always wear. Also, these shoes are quite heavy.
