Look:My son loves these shoes! These Nikes are stylish, sturdy, and still lightweight. My son outgrows them before he can wear them out. The "velcro" straps make getting ready for school faster. They are hard to find in the stores, especially the larger youth sizes. Zappos carries these in several colors so I purchased 2 pairs at his current size and 2 the next half-size up. Look:Great looking shoes- if the child\'s foot is at all wide though, the velcro can be hard to close, or stay shut. Look:My son loves the look and the easy Velcro closure. He is in 1st grade and I know if I'd bought him tie shoes, he would never take the time to tie them during his busy day at school and being a 1st grader I would like him to feel independent. I ordered the shoes in red, white, and blue and really like the look. My son is a true size 2 and I ordered the size 2, which fit great. I wish I would have ordered a 2 1/2 as the shoe is a little narrow so he may grow out of them a little faster then I'd intended. Look:This shoe is terrific. My four and a half year old loves them. They have the high quality of Nikes and they have the strap that he can do himself as he\'s not ready to tie his own shoes. Look: Great tennis shoe that is made well, but I didn't find it fit to size as all the other reviews stated. I found they fit at least one full size smaller. Thank goodness for Zappos free ship/returns; it took me 3 times to get it right. And while the velcro is wonderful, tell me Nike, wht didn't you make the ribbon across the front out of elastic? I don't get that. It doesn't give at all. So little hands find it difficult to hold down the tongue and squeeze the opening together while pulling over the velcro strap. Elastic would have made this easier. They sometimes need mom's help and I needed a shoe for school that they didn't need help with, but it's the best I can find. Far too few manufacturers are making hook and loop closures. Overall a good shoe, but a bit overpriced compared to other brands. Look:My son absolutely loves these shoes. He is 5-1/2, and as with the other comments, loves the independence of putting the shoes on himself. Tying shoes is still a little difficult for him. The velcro closure stays put well when secured and allows him the independence to put the shoes on himself. Look:Best sneakers ever for obvious reasons: easy on/off, not babyish looking velcro. We've been buying these every season since we discovered them about 2 years ago for my now 7-year old son.
