Look:My son loves this very light and comfortable shoe. The only drawback is that the mesh that makes this shoe so light and breathable is nowhere near as durable as leather. Look:My son never wants to take these shoes off! He tried a lot of different running shoes, and these seem to be doing the trick, although the Velcro strap opened up a couple of times at his last cross-country meet. I'm not sure if the strap needs to be longer or if it was 5 year old human error. It seemed to be fine after I fixed them. After his first day of running in them he complained of his feet hurting, but hasn't had a problem since we had him double up on socks. Look:These sneakers are great! In the past I have purchased laced shoes that seemed to be always untied, but when I saw these online, I figured I would give them a try. What a blessing! My son zips in and zips out of them with ease, and because he has a wider foot, the shoe was perfect because it came in a wider width. Great sneaker! Look:Great fit! My 8 year old has really hard to fit wide feet with a narrow heel. These New Balance fit him well. I also like the easy velcro closure. The only small problem I have is that the straps are a tad short. My son has a high in step so the strap closes short. The velcro strap just isn’t long enough so it comes undone whenever he’s running around and he has an average width foot.
