I love these shoes. They are very comfortable, especially since I wear a EE width - so am hard to fit. Additionally, their appearance is a really nice change from the usual bright white running shoe.

Love this shoe! Very light and comfortable, bless New Balance for making wide and extra-wide widths. No break-in period, plus my 3 sons think the shoe looks cool, especially the shaped neon laces.

Ordered these for my daughter. She is crazy about them. Says they are comfortable and that she can really feel the difference when walking on rough surfaces. The look is very nice also. Thinking maybe mom should have a pair also.

The shoe description on the Zappos page is right on. This is the lightest weight trail shoe I've seen. Another reviewer mentioned the cushioning and comfort, which is fantastic, but it feels solid and has an excellent sole for trails. I consider this to be the ideal dry weather companion to the NB WT1100 -- another trail shoe I love but is Gortex and very warm, and I prefer to use it only in rainy, wet weather. I expect the WT875 will be another favorite for me. One thing to keep in mind is that the uppers a mesh/sock combination, which makes these very comfortable and breathable, but not a good shoe for running on the beach or in other sandy soils where the sand will filter in on the sides. It runs a bit narrow, and I would recommend going one size wider than you would otherwise. The length seems right on, even a bit generous, which is just a sign of a well designed running shoe! And of course, Zappos' service rocks!

Zappos is a great place to shop. I order alot of shoes and send some back for various reasons, mostly because shoes are not always comfortable. I had foot surgery several years ago and do not want to damage my feet with the wrong shoe. I like Donald Pliner sandals (stretch) and boots also.

These sneakers are the best sneakers I have ever went running in. I have bought Asics, Saucony, and Nike shoes. All three have given me shin splints. These sneakers are like running on air. They are so fantastic, I purchased three pairs of them! That is how good they are. However, it took me a while to get my size right. I would say I am a half size bigger than what my actual foot size is.

I am very disappointed. I was so happy to find sneakers in extra wide, I ordered these right away. My doctor had recommended I wear shoes with more "cush" under the heels for my plantar fasciitis. But for some reason New Balance seems to be under the impression that all people's feet pronate, and have built up the soles to compensate for this. Like many people, my feet supinate, and these shoes have been aggravating my condition, not helping. I have worn them twice, and by the end of the day ended up in so much pain I could not walk. As I've worn them, and can't return them, these brand new shoes are going in the Goodwill, and I'm back to my flip flops.

As an older, slower runner who generally runs 8 miles daily, I was amazed at the versatility of the New Balance WT875 and pleasantly pleased with the fit. The toe box is accommodating and I found it unnecessary to "go up a size" as is so common with today\'s running shoes. I ordered a size 7 since my dress shoe size is a 6, but found the 6 1/2 fits better than the 7. Only a half size up works well! The grid allows me to run on all surfaces without getting rocks stuck between the cleats, and the cushioning is more than adequate. As a heavy heel striker, I have found the shoe to be stable and durable. (All NB shoes have the higher fit on the back of the heel which prevents slippage.) This is my 4th pair of the WT875!

I have low volume narrow feet and these just about work - a little less volume would be nice. The sole is pretty aggressive and stiffer than a road running sneaker but still with a nice amount of cushioning. I\'m enjoying them.

2 different sizes - I ordered these after seeing great reviews from multiple sources, but when I received the shoes, they (although both marked size 5) were 2 different sizes, one shoe being almost a full size larger than the other. These seemed to be more cheaply made than the last 3 pairs of NB that I have owned. Does anyone have a good recommendation for good trail running shoes made in the USA?

These shoes are amazing! For me there wasn't even a 'wear in' period that I normally have with shoes. The fit is great. They are super comfortable and I feel like I could wear them forever. They are great for running and hiking. I love they way they look. Colors are fun! I couldn’t say enough good things about these shoes...I want to buy 5 more pairs and stockpile them!

The most comfortable, most cushiony New Balance pair I ever had. The comfort level and support this shoe offers is by far more superior than the 992's I have.

These are great shoes, with great support and comfort. I purchased 2E because I always have trouble finding shoes that are wide enough - they fit wonderfully. I use them for walking, hiking, and running, and haven't had any problems. They could use a little more cushioning on the heels and balls of your feet, but other than that, they're great.

I have wide feet and ordered the EE size and it was perfect. I mainly exercise on trails or terrain and the soles are wonderful for that- no slipping on dirt or rocks. I put in different inserts though, because I need a lot of arch support and cushion.

Very comfortable, but not really blue - The shoe is very comfortable and provides excellent cushioning. The only thing I wasn't happy about was the appearance of the shoe. It looks blue (and is named "blue") on the website, but is actually more of a gray with a hint of green. And some of the strips are shiny and silvery in appearance... does not show on website photos.

Nice secure fit. I purchased these trail shoes b/c the previous pair I bought were too wide for my narrow feet and I was sliding around inside the shoe too much during lateral movements and on rocks/roots. The NB 875 has a nice, secure fit enhanced by a liner that wraps your foot as your tighten the laces. The cushioning is good but not as soft as the Brooks Cascadia -- but it is still plenty cushioned. The shoes laces stay tied and secure for entire runs. If you have a narrow foot and have a hard time finding a trail shoe that offers the secure fit and stability needed to handle rocky and uneven trail surfaces (without rolling an ankle) I would recommend trying this shoe. It worked for me.
