This is a lightweight shoe with good cushioning and very responsive. Only thing I didn't like about this particular pair is the stitching between the toe box and the laces when I put in orthotics - seems a little snug at the flex point just above the toes. I ordered these shoes on Friday and received them on Monday. These shoes by Mizuno are just the greatest. I am a nurse and I need good fitting shoes which have a great support and these shoes fit the bill. I also have a very narrow, high arch foot and these shoes were just right for me. I now have 3 pairs of Mizuno shoes. Wave Renegade #3 & #4 plus the Wave Rider #11. They are all great, but my favorite one is the Renegade #3. I have been running regularly for a good three years now and I have been wearing ASICS Gel-Nimbus until I tried their newest offering this year. Those shoes rubbed my poor arches so bad that I had to send them back. A friend of mine recommended Mizuno, so tried them out. I am in love! They are really comfortable with just the right amount of cushioning for my Normal Pronation (the way the Gel-Nimbus used to be before the rubbing issues). Thank you Zappos for delivering my shoes so quickly as well (I ordered two pairs to rotate)! This is my third pair as I replace them yearly. I ran for years switching between Asics and Saucony but not loving either of them. One summer as I was plagued with blisters I found the Mizuno's. They provide great cushioning for my high arches. I did go up 1/2 size compared to my usual size in walking shoes. Dealing with Zappos was great. Saved me a trip to the store with kids dragging along; the customer service was excellent, and the ship time couldn't be beat.
