Look:I really like this shoe. I have very hard to fit feet: my heel is narrow, my toes wide and my foot is curved. This means my foot slides forward making my toes hit the ends of my shoes and even if toe box is roomy, if the last (platform) of the shoe isn't curved, my big toes hit against the inside of the shoe. Thus I am always wearing big sloppy looking, ill fitting shoes to keep my toes from hitting the ends. The first thing that drew me to this shoe is the slightly turned-up toe. I have found through painful trial and error that shoes like this keep my toes from hitting the end even if my heel is slipping a little. The last is curved (the inside of the shoe says "universal platform") and the toe box has plenty of room. I would have to wear a wide width in the Brooks Addiction which is a great shoe, but this one fits my foot so much better. Great arch support, too. So, if you have a curved, Daisy Duck-looking foot (narrow heel, wide at the toe), these shoes are for you! Oh, and I am an avid walker, not a runner. Look: I have tried many different running shoes and often times have heel pain or shin splints. These shoes are the best running shoes I have ever had. They are very supportive and lightweight. Look:A few years ago I went to a running store and Brooks was the shoe that was recommended to me. Look:I have a client, a nurse, who works three 12 hour shifts. She recommended the Switch 2. I ordered it about two in the afternoon and I received them the very next day. What service! I love the shoe and will continue to buy that brand and style. No breaking-in period at all. Just comfortable and lots of support. It's a great tennis shoe for walking. Look:Perhaps Brooks are just not the shoe for me, but I quickly regretted replacing my worn-out Asics with this shoe. These felt better in the store than comparably-priced Asics, so I decided to give them a try. My feet were just a little crampy (my arches, particularly the left, felt like they were really slapping) on the treadmill, and 3-4 outdoor runs of two to three miles quickly convinced me to return the Brooks to the store. Look:We live off the grid, so to speak, and it is nearly impossible to buy merchandise here. Being able to shop at Zappos, without having to pay for shipping either way, allows us to purchase what we need without the extra expenditure. And returns go well and are timely. Look:I had to return the first pair ordered; too small. The half size larger is great. Service was fantastic. Quick credit and quick to send the larger pair. Look:I bought new shoes because I was having foot pain while running on my treadmill. These shoes fixed the problem. They are comfortable, supportive, and attractive. Look:I love these shoes. I have been suffering from Achilles tendonitis for some time. I wore Asics at the time of onset and then moved to Nike which made it worse. Did some research and found Brooks to be a good brand to counter the tendonitis...and boy are these shoes great for it. My tendonitis cleared up within the first week of wearing these shoes and has not reappeared. I can wear them all day, and they are still comfortable. I wear a 9 1/2, ordered a 9 1/2 and they fit perfectly. I run, walk and do aerobics in them, and they have performed wonderfully. Plus, I ordered them at 9p.m. and received them at 1p.m. the NEXT DAY...how insane is that?!?! Thanks Zappos! Top
