So hard to find shoes wide enough that look OK. These are it. Lots of width without looking odd. Usually buy New Balance, these were a nice change.

Comfortable, supportive, longwearing -
This is the only athletic shoe I buy. I have worn New Balance's top women's model for years through all its model number changes. This shoe is so excellent that I do not worry about my footing at all. I just slip my 3/4 orthotics on top of its footbed and am good to go.

Happy Feet -
I ordered these running shoes as I was recuperating from heel surgery and I needed to transition to a secure shoe for physical therapy. What a comfortable shoe - I need a wide shoe, so New Balance is the only way to go. This shoe offers good arch support and keeps me from rolling in as I walk. I haven't begun to jog as yet, but that's the goal and this shoe makes me want to reach that goal. It offers good cushion and plenty of toe space. I followed others recommendations and ordered a half size larger. Seems the way to go.

Brooks for weird feet and bad knees!
I was never a runner and found that trying to nurture this new routine was impossible with your run-of-the-mill shoes bought at a store in the mall. I am flat-footed and my feet hyper-pronate causing some knee pain as I built up mileage. At least, so said the running shoe expert at my excellent local running store. I bought a pair of Brooks' Ariels there and eventually trained up to a half-marathon in the same shoes. In a pinch, I bought a second pair from Zappos and was incredibly satisfied with the experience!

Can't live without -
These make all my shoes comfortable. I need them since I have high arches and no shoe has enough support. I like that they don't have any foam rubber padding to make my feet hot. Plus, they last forever.

Nimbus-9 Review -
Purchased these shoes based on reviews from other heavier runners. I am 6'1" and 220lbs. and was having some knee pain with my previous shoes. These added some much appreciated cushioning to my heavy step and are a good quality shoe. They don't breathe as well as some other shoes out there, which is why I gave them a 4 star rating on comfort.

Good shoes, great service!
True to size, light weight, and comfortable. I've never been dissatisfied with Asics. In fact, this is my fourth pair. I exercise a lot and have never felt any discomfort. The only con is the shiny material thats on most of their sneakers. Best yet - I ordered these yesterday evening and received them before noon today. This is my second order from Zappos, the first one the sneakers weren't true to size and I called to return them. I received the correct size the next day

Spectacular!!!
I love these shoes! Very comfortable and I work a job where I'm on my feet all day running around on concrete floors. The look is great, not too space-like or sporty, more casual shoe-look. The toe space is great, never feels cramped. Your feet can really breathe and spread.

My feet love these walking shoes -
I finally have some comfortable walking shoes, they are worth the money. I don't know why the ankle has to be so high, though. That's a bit less comfortable than they would be with lower tops. But still they're the best walking shoes I've found anywhere.

Walk/runner -
These are great shoes for hard surfaces and "bad" knees. They run a little short in the toe area, but I did not find it to be enough to return them. They are light weight and very comfortable. I like them better than the 992s I had three times previous.

Excellent quality shoes -
I purchased these after wearing Brooks Beast and Brooks Adrenaline for the past several years. The M992's are most similar to the Beast as look and feel like a very heavy duty bulky shoe. The build quality and comfort is excellent and they look as if they will last for a few years. I have some rather thick orthotics that I transferred over from my Brooks Adrenaline shoes and they fit very well in the M992's. Although these are made in the USA, they are usually a size smaller then your street shoes. In other words, if you wear a size 8 shoe, you need a size 8 1/2 for the M992.

Wonderful -
I loved these sneakers! My past two pairs of running shoes have both been New Balance stability shoes, I have never had a single blister with either of these pairs of shoes, no "breaking in" was needed at all...I ran my first half marathon in these shoe and they were extremely comfortable and light. I have also had many compliments on them, plus the color is awesome! I strongly recommend any New Balance stability shoe!

I severely overpronate and need a motion control shoe. I mainly use these shoes for walking and light exercise rather than running. They are comfortable and lightweight. I would recommend them for people with similar problems.

Another Disappointed 1122 Fan -
This shoe is a big disappointment compared to the 1122 it replaces. It offers significantly less motion control than the 1122 (and the 925 walkers from the same era), and it feels like there is less forefoot cushioning as well. New Balance also seems to have changed their sizing--perhaps to make their sizes more consistent with other brands? I wouldn't know as their SL-2 last is about the only thing that fits my problem feet. What I DO know is that I had to move a half size down after remaining the same size for years. The lack of arch support is not a problem for those of us who use orthotics. Yes, there is still plenty of room for orthotics and toes, so I guess it isn't all bad.

Great shirt for hot weather - This top is so comfortable, I'm ordering two more. I sweat quite a bit when I run, and I haven't found any shirt that doesn't become drenched in hot and humid weather. Even still, this top has a neckline low enough to stay cool. It is also the only shirt I can wear without chafing.

Eh...changed the shape from previous model - Had the Wave Rider 9 and was thrilled with them. Unfortunately, the shape of the toe box and also the support in the 11 has changed enough that I'm considering trying to stock up on 9s before they disappear. I'd return them, but my second run in them was through some very muddy woods.

I have had a lot of trouble with feet, so my review of this shoe is raving. Love it. I need a soft cushion, and these shoes do the job. I wouldn't mind even softer. I am a runner, and have a problem with circulation in my feet. The mesh material gives my foot room to breath but they are not loose feeling. They are very comfortable for everyday use. I have 4 pair. 2 for day to day, and 2 to switch off for running. I wish there were insole replacements or even a little darker color though. They get dirty fast because of light color. Great shoe.

Excellent Shoe! My 3 1/2 year old LOVES these sneakers! My son wanted a pair of sneakers just like "daddies" so I ordered these for him. The inside is quite cushiony, great support, felt true to size and they fit his foot nicely. Plus they aren't "clunky" like a lot of sneakers. We highly recommend these!

These are very cute! Although, they fit a little funny in my ears. Thankfully they come with 2 other silicon gel tips, which make it easy to find the right fitting size. I suggest, however, if you have issues with ear buds fitting in your ears, opt up for the more pricey set.

After trying on many kinds of walking shoes, I finally found one that fits! Just got home from a trip to Europe, and my Ryka shoes made the trip enjoyable for me. My feet didn't hurt, even with all the walking. When I arrived home, I bought another pair to have when these wear out! Thanks for making a shoe with a narrow heel and wider forefoot.

Great shoes! I love these sneakers! They are some of the lightest and most comfortable running shoes I've ever owned (much better than Nike Shox). I really like the style and color of these shoes too I ordered the pink/coral. The price was so reasonable I think I might order them in gray too!
